I love my Peña Texas Trapper!! Right choice of materials to an already modernized traditional trapper. The Damasteel blade with fat carbon scales really makes it stand out, especially in lighting. Only draw back, my detent screws were lose. After figeting a bit, the blade off centered. I didn’t have time to dissemble and check if screws were locktite secured. Just got my T drivers and retighten. Actually a few times this happened right out of the box. Sad part, I managed to somewhat worp my detent screws, with minimal force. For this price, I just imagine the hardware to be titanium. Blade is centered now, and detent has stayed together. Just at the cost of a few metal screws I’m scared to mess with now.
